Lime plastering recently done to allow breathability for the wall which was collecting damp externally. All problems addressed, internally and externally.

Here is a chimney stack which was failing due to moisture encroaching behind the pre-existing render, causing the haunching, brick work, render of chimney stack & partying wall to fail. They also had the same problem on the front chimney stack which we were able to solve earlier on in the year. One of our requests on both the stacks were to reuse materials which the customer had prior to us coming to make things as cost efficient as possible. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the finish on the front stack once it was completed although there are a couple of photos of it showing you how bad the problem really was with vegetation growing out the chimney!

- Rebuilding of brickwork by cleaning & reusing appropriate bricks.
- New haunching.
- Reusing the customers pots due to the chimney not having appropriate pots on prior to us fixing it.
- Taking off blown render & re-rendering the partying wall & stack to ensure it is water tight with a drip.
- Batten and felt fix on lower lift of scaffold where water had got in the roof and caused damp inside the house.

- Knock through to create an opening for a door way. Splitting a kitchen and a dining area in to two separate rooms.
- Stud wall and plaster board up, insulated & plastered.
- Door & ironmongery, sourced and fitted with architrave.
